Attentive and deeply caring, FAM teachers, trainers and volunteers inspire student participation, hard work, leadership, discipline, and character development.  We strive to engage the creative and industrious minds of adolescents and teens.  Not only do we want to impart knowledge, but to also nurture an insatiable hunger and love for learning.

Mentoring Motivated Minds: Mentoring is a tool to positively affect the lives of adolescents and teens.  Our programs promote achievement, self-esteem, responsible decision making, love for learning, and avoidance of the juvenile court system.  FAM inspired program services:

• Target at-risk urban and rural school students to develop proactive character traits, a strong work ethic, and greater appreciation for education.  
• Develop a broad mix of scholarly strengths through inspired education, training, and positive role modeling.

Tutor-2-Scholar: Facilitates problem solving and basic training to help students become stronger in education course work.  Another key objective is for the student to proudly remain at grade level with their peers, while gaining a sharp academic edge as they progress.  This FAM program service feature will:

• Construct ready access for students struggling in grade level Reading, Math, Science and/or Writing.
• Strengthen students mental drive to take on learning challenges.  
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to boost grades, self-esteem, social and communication skills.

Center Stage Performing Arts: It’s the dawn of a new day and talent discovery of ‘Generation Z.’  The performing arts can encourage self discovery, expand imagination, and help develop students own, unique voice.  This program service feature will:

• Develop creativity and free style expression that instills confidence.
• Promote soulful articulation through song, dance, or spoken word. 
• Release energy and delight in creative expression of an artistic idea or emotion.

Life Skills and Leadership: Through practical leadership fundamentals, this enrichment feature is designed to develop knowledge, confidence, respectable and responsible behavior that refines strong leadership capabilities. FAM program service feature will:

• Influence participant peers to make smart and healthy choices.
• Build respectful relationships, inspire positive team player.
• Prepare for the globally competitive marketplace.

Personal Finance$ Lab: Get ready for an education transformation!  It's never too early to start implementing good money management practices.  This youth services program is designed to educate, keep students engaged and excited about money management.  FAM program service feature will:

• Provide an increase understanding through learning activities and real-world applications. 
• Focus on ways students can learn to save and invest their finances.
• Encourage students to ask questions as they prepare for a positive impact on their futures.
