To achieve anything worthwhile requires hard work, sacrifice, resilience, tenacity, and courage. It is therefore up to the individual whether to adorn or to devalue education. Lying dormant within — awaken your abilities to be all that you can be with a life-changing transformation through education.

For the ambitious student cruising the choppy seas of life, education can navigate a path free of adrift living and steer a successful course towards the shores of healthy social and economic growth. Con- versely, without positive guidance and life skills coaching, young people have a slim chance to survive and thrive against today’s odds.

It is my humble opinion that from the cradle to the grave, education is a lifelong process. As such, the infant grows to become a toddler, the toddler an adolescent, and the subsequent advancement from teen to young adulthood. Nonetheless, in this progression young lives are greatly impacted by quality guidance, modeling, and education.

Through the vast communication mediums, information typically cannot be converted into knowledge without the change agent known as education. It is this growth incentive that serves to broaden ones know- ledge, help form constructive opinions and intelligent points of view. Furthermore, education improves abilities to interpret things correctly, while applying newly discovered insight in real life scenarios.

As a guiding support system, education provides an understanding of social existence and teaches one to learn from experience. Equally important, education contributes to self-confidence and develops the capacity to think, analyze, and exercise good judgment. Moreover, education cultivates a mature individual capable of planning and negotiating responsible decisions in the competitive marketplace.

To this point, in a former speech regarding educations high value, President Barack Obama made these remarks, “Every single one of you has something that you’re good at. Every single one of you has some- thing to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what it is. That’s the opportunity an education can provide.”

In summary, there have been many ancestors who have fought, bled and died for today’s privilege of an equal education, which many people continue to take for granted. After all, every young person is special and viewed as a masterpiece of the Most High Creator. Committed to realizing your maximum potential, view education as one of life’s major pivot points as you strive for a life-changing impact on your family and community through education.

Yes, at times you can become frustrated with the challenging critical thinking process, however, learning can also be exciting and enriching. So strive to be ambitious, academic and/or trade skill ready when opportunity knocks! Divinely endowed with a sense of purpose, seek to gravitate towards the part of you that is most powerful and filled with heartfelt desires.
